What happens with Micah Beckwith attacks public school band programs

Andrew Muth is the music director at Westfield High School. Micah Beckwith made a negative social media post about Westfield's winter percussion group that is facing some backlash.

Sarah interviews the music director of Westfield Highschool, Andrew Muth. Recently, Indiana's Lt. Governor, Micah Beckwith, posted negatively about Westfield's winter percussion show advocating to use vouchers instead of this public school. This led to an uproar in the Hoosier band world. Band parents are uniting and showing support across the state for this program and all arts programs across the state in public education.

Beckwith made this horrific post for a reason. He wants to dismantle public education. When a voucher is used, tax dollars fund religious and charter schools instead of public schools. This voucher program hurts our public school kids. And these kids need programs like band to help their mental health and help them be leaders in their communities as adults.
