Today on Project Next, we’re sitting down with Indianapolis City Councilor Jesse Brown — a bold, independent Democrat who’s made waves by challenging the establishment and standing up for accountability.

Jesse was elected in 2023 to represent Indy’s East Side, running a grassroots campaign that rejected corporate and developer money. He’s quickly become known for his willingness to speak truth to power — even when that means confronting people inside his own party.

In this episode, we’re digging into his recent altercation with State Senator Greg Taylor, who’s facing serious accusations from six women — allegations of unwanted touching, harassment, and abuse of power that have shaken the Indiana Democratic Party. Despite those claims, party leadership has been slow to act — and Jesse Brown says enough is enough.
